Your Role on the Team Position Summary: CNA
Provides basic patient care under the supervision of the RN team member.

Required Qualifications: - Current California Nurses Assistant Certification; Current BLS provider.
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications: - One year acute care experience as a C.N.A.
- High School graduate or equivalent or above.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Physical Requirements: Position involves standing and walking for long periods of time, approximately 75% of the workday; Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary; Weight will vary from patient to patient; Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity to perform all job responsibilities; Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; Must be free from signs of illness and infection.
