Under supervision of the Administrative Nurse Manager, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant III assists in the delivery of care to patients in Pediatric Brain Center ambulatory group practices. Work includes a variety of personal care and clinical procedures including assuring positive care outcomes. S/he will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the specialty care services provided to patients within the practices. S/he is required to learn and be able to assist in procedures for Pediatric Brain Center - Neurosurgery. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $32.86 - $41.01 (Hourly Rate).
