Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience with people management, and leading and developing a sales team.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the agency and third-party ecosystem with deep relationships.
  • Experience leading teams, driving go-to-market initiatives, establishing operational excellence, and fostering collaborative environments.
  • Experience developing and executing strategies that drive significant business growth and product adoption in large-scale client environments.
  • Experience in using data to inform decisions, solve complex problems, and translate insights into actionable strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Experience thought leadership in performance advertising with an understanding of how to apply measurement principles to drive growth.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Product GTM, DM&A, Gtech).

The Agency Performance Solutions team is a newly formed powerhouse designed to bring product and measurement expertise together in service of our most sophisticated customers. We aim to position Agencies at the forefront of AI innovations in performance marketing. By coupling product expertise with advanced measurement strategies, we take product innovations and transform them into scalable client solutions that drive the business results our customers care most about. We are passionate about all things performance and want to shape the Future of Search advertising. The team interacts directly with Agency Sales pods, helping them apply the strategies developed by the team overall.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful employment of all modern search advertising sales and measurement strategies across APCS and will be responsible for leading a team working horizontally across all APCS Agencies.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $173,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Performance Strategy and Measurement Leads to deliver performance business growth, product activation, and measurement best practices across Googles Agency partners.
  • Ensure agencies have strong data foundations and advanced measurement frameworks, positioning them at the forefront of AI innovation in performance advertising.
  • Establish operating excellence and strong collaboration within APCS, and forge deep relationships with key partners such as Sector Specialists, DM&A Leadership, Product GTM, GPS, and GTech.
  • Align quarterly and annual Agency, Platforms and Client Solutions (APCS) and Data, Measurement and Analytics (DM&A) business planning processes with the needs at product level to solve for Agencys key objectives.
  • Serve as a thought leader on the New Era of Search and the measurement strategies best suited to prove its value, both internally and externally.
