Position Title: Lift Ticket Sales Agent

Reports To: Ticket Sales Manager

Supervises: N/A

Summary of Position

Responsibilities include operation of Front Office ticketing system, collecting payment and issuing tickets to both individual and group customers. Must exhibit good customer service skills according to the hospitality standards. Can explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete task to standard.

  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
  • Will be able to identify the needs/wants of guests purchasing lift tickets and provide the service or direction to meet them;
  • Basic computer skills needed to sell lift tickets on a touch screen sales terminal;
  • Will be responsible for large amounts of cash and lift tickets;
  • Ticket Agents are responsible for simple recordkeeping and inventory functions;
  • Will be cross trained with other departments in order to respond to the needs of the Ski Area;

  • High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) minimum of one year job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
