Job Details Yard in West Columbia, South Carolina - we work within 3 hour radius
Responsibilities
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, oil and filter changes, and inspections
Repairs: Repair and replace generators, motors, and related components
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions
Fuel systems: Diagnose and repair fuel systems and fuel system components
Electronic controls: Diagnose, repair, replace, and calibrate electronic controls and sensors
Preventative maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems
Emergency repairs: Perform emergency repairs during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Record keeping: Keep accurate records and maintain activity logs
Customer service: Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Specialized training, such as a certificate or associate degree
Knowledge of fire codes, state and federal safety regulations, and internal combustion engines
Physical stamina
Experience in power generation or diesel mechanics
