Summary/Objective

The General Warehouse Representative I is responsible for processing incoming orders, picking and filling orders from stock, packing, and shipping orders. This position is also responsible for managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

What you would do:

• Order entry from shared email account/fax/mail
• Prepare products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling
• Prepare shipping documents and schedule freight pick-ups as required
• Assure that shipments are sent using the proper service level and have the proper paperwork
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to the warehouse manager
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations
• Load and unload freight trucks as necessary
• Cut machine belts when needed
• Receive incoming shipments, log received items, and deliver to the proper person or department
• Pick and ship items from Sales Operations for new machine installs and upgrades
• Process quotes and shipments for various departments
• Receive in-stock items from vendors and enter a good receipt for PO

• Forklift certified
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude, detail-oriented, works well on a team

2. Order entry from shared email account/fax/mail
3. Prepare products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling
4. Prepare shipping documents and schedule freight pick-ups as required
5. Assure that shipments are sent using the proper service level and have the proper paperwork
6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to the warehouse manager
7. Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations
8. Load and unload freight trucks as necessary
9. Cutting machine belts when needed
10. Receive incoming shipments, log received items, and deliver to the proper person or department
11. Pick and ship items from Sales Operations for new machine installs and upgrades
12. Process return international shipments: paperwork, packing, and shipping items
13. Process quotes from Service
14. Process shipments for the Applications department
15. Process credits/goods put away for incoming items that are received
16. Receive in-stock items from vendors and enter a good receipt for PO
17. Clean and organize warehouse when needed
18. Performing other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses forklifts and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to stand, sit, reach, climb, balance, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy products. The employee must wear closed-toe shoes at all times for safety precautions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional early mornings and late nights are required.
