The Role

We are seeking a professional Freelance Journalist for an on-site assignment during the HEDNA 2026 at Orlando, Florida . This is a high-energy, 2-day contract role focused on capturing the pulse of the event through multimedia reporting and networking.

Key Responsibilities

Multimedia Interviews: Conduct on-site audio and video interviews with industry leaders, exhibitors, and keynote speakers.

News Coverage: Attend press conferences and seminars to write real-time news updates and featured articles.

Content Creation: Produce high-quality press releases and editorial content for our digital magazine and news portal.

Professional Networking: Represent Travel And Tour World by engaging with attendees and exchanging professional contact information to expand our industry reach.

Real-time Reporting: Post timely updates and articles during the event to ensure our global audience remains informed.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven background in journalism, news writing, and conducting professional interviews.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (multilingual skills are a plus).

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using digital media tools for broadcasting and basic video/audio recording.

Sector Knowledge: Prior experience or interest in the travel, tourism, or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industries is highly valued.

Efficiency: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet immediate deadlines.

Education: A degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
