Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Tech to join our team at a busy produce facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a keen eye for detail to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished produce for quality, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
Document inspection results, complete QA reports, and maintain accurate records
Monitor sanitation practices and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols
Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues promptly and effectively
Assist in audits, food safety checks, and corrective action plans
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with facility policies
Requirements:
Previous experience in the food industry is required (produce experience strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and HACCP principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work Monday–Friday with required Saturday shifts
Reliable transportation to Swedesboro, NJ
