Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a  Food Production Manager 2for  Boston University Fenway Campus . This Food Production Manager will be responsible for daily menus, production, postproduction, ordering and following recipes for resident dining, catering and retail operations on campus.

Boston University Fenway Campus is one of four Resident Dining Halls on Boston University's Campus that will be housing 660 Freshman-age students this upcoming Fall semester. Our focus will remain on serving excellent quality food coupled with top-of-the-line customer service and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• have oversight of day-to-day operations  

• deliver high quality food service  
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals  
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships  
• develop strategic plans  
• create a positive environment
• ensure Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring:

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
