Description: You will be part of the Flight Engineer Crew for the C-130 program at our Lockheed Martin Greenville Location. Our team is responsible for Flight engineer and operations and training for the C-130.
What You Will Be Doing The Flight Engineer accomplishes preflight acceptance of the aircraft, performs fueling of the aircraft, and is responsible for the information, procedures, and requirements related to the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Position serves as a primary in-house Flight Engineer Instructor and/or Evaluator and requires performance of Flight Engineer duties in the low altitude environment to include night vision goggles, tactical air land, and airdrop.
The applicant will also perform the following duties:
Flight and ground training activities.
Flight-related administrative duties.
Coordinate scheduling and monitoring of training activities.
Performance of standardization and evaluation functions in accordance with applicable Federal aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
* Additionally, candidate must be able to travel domestically/internationally without restrictions for up to 30 days.
*Must be a US Citizen with Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have 2,500 total flight hours as a Flight Engineer.
Candidate must have 2,000 C-130/L-382 hours as a Flight Engineer.
Candidate must have 300 C-130/L-382 Flight Engineer Instructor hours.
Candidate must have Night Vision Goggles, tactical air land, and airdrop experience.
Candidate must have experience with completing Flight Engineer Evaluations.
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years flying experience.
Must possess an ACTIVE Secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years.
Desired Skills: FAA Flight Engineer Certificate -- Turbo prop.
FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate.
Flying experience in the last 3 years.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
