We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Cranberry Twp, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical tax compliance projects while working in a flexible environment. Responsibilities:

• Analyze historical invoices to determine the applicability of sales and use taxes.

• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to U.S. and Canadian tax regulations.

• Research complex tax issues and deliver actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and propose tax adjustments.

• Generate financial reports and manage data using Oracle Fusion and Cognos software.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Provide support for accounts payable processes related to tax compliance.

• Utilize tax software such as Vertex Sales & Use Tax to streamline assessments.

• Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.

• Ensure accurate and timely analysis of approximately 1,000 invoices monthly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in finance, accounting, or accounts payable roles.
• Proficient understanding of U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax laws.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and Cognos software.
• Ability to conduct independent research and deliver insights.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with tax software such as Vertex Sales & Use Tax is a plus.
• Previous auditing or compliance experience preferred.
