Job Details:

Contract Duration: 4 - 6 months w/ potential full time conversion

Rate: $20 - $22/hr

Work Schedule: 8-10 hours per day, Monday-Friday (Occasionally Saturdays)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Read and interpret all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
• Properly set up a variety of copper and fiber testers.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
• Terminate, label, test and troubleshoot optical fiber and copper installations.
• Ability to understand and effectively explain every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross- and inter-connections, and testing.

How You Are Qualified:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 – 5 years’ work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
• OHSA 10 required.
• Fiber Optic Association CPCT preferred.
• Fiber Optic Association CFOT preferred.
