As a Fence Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced fencing professionals in the installation and maintenance of fences for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities: Assist with Fence Installation: Work alongside experienced team members to install various types of fences, including wooden, vinyl, chain-link, and decorative fences. Material Preparation: Help in preparing materials and tools needed for fence installation, ensuring that everything is organized and readily available. Digging and Excavation: Participate in digging post holes and excavating areas for fence placement, following safety guidelines and best practices. Lifting and Carrying: Assist in lifting and carrying heavy materials, such as fence panels, posts, and tools, ensuring proper safety measures are observed. Measurements and Cutting: Support in taking accurate measurements and cutting materials to the required dimensions for precise fence installation. Cleanup and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist in cleaning up debris and waste materials after completing fence installations. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, following instructions from experienced professionals, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Requirements: Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently. Communication Skills: Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from experienced fence installers. Basic Construction Knowledge: Some knowledge of construction and fence installation is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is mandatory, and a vehicle for commute.
