We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our dealership location. This position is fast-paced with great attention to detail in order to maintain an efficient and customer-oriented facility. The ideal person for this position must be self-driven and a team player.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Monitor inventory of supplies needed for building, equipment, and grounds maintenance.
  • Facilitate janitorial service, performing miscellaneous housekeeping duties. (i.e. restroom, doors, floors, carpet cleaning, etc.)
  • Maintain interior and exterior walls, doors and windows through painting, caulking, cleaning and adjusting to assure continual appeal and comfort.
  • May perform light maintenance and repair on plumbing, HVAC, heaters, fan control units, electrical, electric motors, boilers, generators, air compressors, variable frequency drives, and related systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and implement changes to assure continual and efficient operation of all systems.
  • Provide a level of service required to maintain a good working environment for employees.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
  • Demonstrates the Company Values in daily actions.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Strong troubleshooting abilities. Understanding of workplace safety and lockout/tag out. Team player who is self-motivated and has the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff. Carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and carpentry training or experience. Experience with HVAC computer control systems and automated work order systems are preferred. Proficient with computers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
