Job Description

ECHS Teacher"s Homestay is actively seeking new teacher/host families living in the greater Honolulu area. This is a fun program where students accelerate their learning process by living and studying in their English teacher"s home. Most students stay from 1-4 weeks. Students are all ages arriving from Europe or Asia.

We are looking for a host/teacher that can provide the following:
15 hours private English instruction per week.
3 outings/activities per week with student.
Private bedroom
Meals

Requirements:
All certified teachers are encouraged to apply. ESL Certification is a bonus. An extensive ESL teaching history, with a college degree in any subject may also be acceptable.
Day time availability required (other outside part time work may be acceptable)

Current need: Teachers available for 2023 as students are traveling again.

Average weekly salary: $900.00 to $1200 per week for part-time work depending on various booking criteria. This is for 15 hours of English and 3 activities plus homestay.
