MINI of Bedford , part of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is searching for an individual to join our diverse team as an Entry Level Technician . Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am-4 pm w/rotating Saturdays

What you will do:
- Examine vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor or Shop Foreman
- Clearly and accurately document all work performed
- Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
- State vehicle inspections
- Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by factory. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Follow warranty material disposition procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of customer cars and work areas
Requirements:
What you need to be successful in this position:
- Must be 18 or older, and possess a valid driver license and clean driving record
- A desire to grow in the automotive industry
- Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration and a positive attitude
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
- State Vehicle inspection certification a plus; will train
- Be on time and dependable
- Ability to drive a standard shift a plus
- Be able to pass a background screen
