MINI of Bedford , part of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is searching for an individual to join our diverse team as an Entry Level Technician . Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am-4 pm w/rotating Saturdays

What you will do:

• Examine vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor or Shop Foreman
• Clearly and accurately document all work performed
• Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
• State vehicle inspections
• Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by factory. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
• Follow warranty material disposition procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of customer cars and work areas

What you need to be successful in this position:

• Must be 18 or older, and possess a valid driver license and clean driving record
• A desire to grow in the automotive industry
• Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration and a positive attitude
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
• State Vehicle inspection certification a plus; will train
• Be on time and dependable
• Ability to drive a standard shift a plus
• Be able to pass a background screen
