Position Summary: DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking an Engineer with structural design experience on mid to high rise building projects. The candidate will provide structural engineering design on a range of projects and assist a senior staff member in the completion of day-to-day projects. Work will include computer modeling of building foundation and superstructure systems, design of structural elements, preparation of structural drawings, and construction administration tasks. Responsibilities will include the application of standard engineering design principles and sound engineering judgment to accomplish work assignments. Qualifications (Minimum and Desired): - High School Diploma
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
- Able to perform various tasks within the project team environment
- Must be detail oriented with strong people and team skills
- Have a sense of urgency and initiative essential for success
- One or more years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design
- Knowledge of concrete, steel and masonry design codes, as well as local and national building codes required
- Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues
- Ability to work in AutoCAD and Revit

This position is classified as salaried, exempt. The hiring salary range for this role is anticipated to be $65,000 - $77,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.

For this particular position, we expect to hire near the middle of the range. To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 0-1 years of experience in the industry, and must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a Master's degree is a plus.
We understand that there may be rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position. In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
