Company Overview: We are a leading supplier of high-quality fence, deck, and building materials, dedicated to delivering exceptional products and customer service. Currently, A majority of sales comes from local walk-in homeowners and contractors in the Portland and Vancouver area. Our goal with hiring you is to take our Online store to the next level. We have a good foundation started, and ship products nationwide but we know that with the right help we can reach alot more people. As we continue to grow our online presence, we are seeking a skilled E-Commerce Expert to join our dynamic team and help drive our digital sales efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about e-commerce and the building materials industry to make a significant impact.

Position: E-Commerce Manager
Location: In-office. Vancouver WA or Lacey WA
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Optimize Online Store: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring products are listed accurately, pricing is correct, and the website is user-friendly and optimized for conversion.
  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and email marketing, tailored to our products and target audience.
  • SEO & SEM: Ensure the website is optimized for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic. Manage paid search campaigns to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Analyze Data & Trends: Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.) to track e-commerce performance, sales trends, customer behavior, and other key metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience, from product discovery to checkout and delivery, by analyzing and improving the customer journey.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory updates, stock availability, and order fulfillment.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitors, making recommendations for product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the building materials, home improvement, or retail industry.
  • Expertise in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, email marketing, social media ads, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and website optimization techniques.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and develop actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer service tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of building materials, home improvement, or construction products is a plus, but not required.
