Barx Parx in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one dog trainer to join our 40+ person strong team. We are located on 8868 S. Eastern Ave #115. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Barx Parx is Nevada's first-of-its-kind INDOOR dog park with craft beer, offering a year-round climate-controlled environment for everybody's enjoyment!

Services also include doggy daycare, kennel free puppy sleepovers, grooming, training, self wash stations, retail, event rental and more. Our 12k sq. ft. facility is a fun, bright, safe and clean 21+ establishment located in Las Vegas. We were voted Best of Las Vegas 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 for Pet Daycare/Boarding! We were also voted Best of Las Vegas for Dog Training in 2023 and 2021! We were also voted Best of Las Vegas for Pet Grooming in 2023, 2021 and 2020!

Our pawsome team is looking for ONE MORE new pack member! We are in search of compassionate dog lovers who have pawsome personalities and are very excited to find out if you'd be a good fit for our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Part Time Dog Trainer - positive reinforcement/clicker-training methods only. Long term potential for full time.
• No e-collar or other balanced training methods used in our facility.
• Midweek and weekend availability are a must, hourly pay is negotiable depending on experience.
• Base pay for non training hours worked. Additional commission for every session sold, so you essentially make $25/hour when training . There is also no cap on how many training sessions you can do per week, so you essentially determine how much your paycheck is for!

Qualifications

• Must have previous professional dog training experience.
• Must LOVE dogs of all shapes all sizes.
• Must be comfortable picking up after them.
• Must have the attitude of "dog hair, don't care".
• Must be 21+ years of age.
