Role Summary: We are seeking a friendly and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for performing all grooming-related duties to ensure that dogs are neat, clean, and looking their best. The groomer’s responsibilities include bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair.. Our Dog Groomer attentively follows pet owners’ instructions and accommodates their special requests. The Dog Groomer treat pets with the utmost love and care. This is a Full-Time or Part-Time Role.

Responsibilities:

• Able to delight customers and pets with breed specific cuts
• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have
• Dematting and detangling hair as required
• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets
• Trimming pets’ nails and cleaning their ears
• Recommending suitable products to pet owners
• Identifying possible health issues and informing the pet owner that they may need to be seen by a doctor
• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process
• Routinely cleaning work areas
• Ensures that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition

Supplies:

• We provide shampoos, conditioners, tables with clip leads, other miscellaneous items. Groomer uses and provides own tools.

Compensation:

• Commission based 50%

• Part-Time (34 or less per week) Employee pet discounts

Schedule:

• Flexible Scheduling, Groomer manages and sets schedule/appointments during business hours: 7AM- 7PM daily, 7 days a week.
