Description
Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states. The Dock Worker responsibility to pick and stage in and outbound product orders; load and move material on and off trucks.
Function:
- Daily inspection of forklifts and check of trailer safety
- Work from verbal orders and written production sheets
- Update orders placed by Sales Reps
- Load and unload trailers
- Pick and palletize RSR orders.
- Maintain product flow in and out of the freezer
- Perform daily housekeeping of dock area, including but not limited to sweeping dock area and emptying garbage
- Use forklift, hand pallet jacks, hand carts, computer, trailer refer equipment, and common office supplies
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition

1st shift hours: •
7:00 am to 3:00pm (Monday - Friday) Requirements
- High School degree or GED preferred
- Basic math skills
- Prior experience working in below freezing conditions
- Ability to comply with instructions and prescribed routines, methods, or procedures
- Ability to exercise judgment of making minor decisions
- Ability to move material up to 25lbs.
