Solar Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Solar Project Manager to lead utility-scale & DG scale (5MW-20MW+) solar projects from pre-construction through execution. This would be focused on the Central Region. They're seeking an experienced Solar PM with experience operating on the EPC side or an experienced Project Engineer who's ready to transition and take on the role of PM to own the entire process from start to finish.

The Solar Project Manager will responsible for the following:

• Manage large-scale solar projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Collaborate with internal teams during bidding, procurement, and subcontractor selection.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, utilities, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure construction quality aligns with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate project team meetings and regular progress reporting to senior leadership.
• Review and manage pay applications, change orders, and contract compliance.
• Support project financial performance through P&L oversight and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements based on lessons learned from past projects.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company policies.

The Solar Project Manager will have the following:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in engineering and construction within the solar, BESS, or wind projects ranging from 2MW-50MW
• Proven ability to manage self-perform construction work in complex project environments.
• Impressive track record and experience in development-execution-delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple cross-functional project teams simultaneously.
• Proficient in industry-standard software tools. (Microsoft, AutoCAD, etc..)
• Skilled in delivering presentations and project updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel around 20-25% to projects across the Central Region.
• DG Scale project management experience in the Central Region HIGHLY PREFERRED

$100,000-$130,000 base salary Comprehensive benefits package - annual bonus, PTO, paid holidays, 401k match, etc..
