Job Description

Hudson Presbyterian Church in Hudson, Ohio, is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry to create and develop the Church's Youth Ministry. Hudson, a beautiful N.E. Ohio suburban community with excellent school systems, multiple nearby universities and easy access to a major city (Cleveland).



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and grow a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with the vision and values of Hudson Presbyterian Church.
• Integrate youth activities and spiritual development into the overall life of the church and local community.
• Plan and organize regular youth group meetings, outreach activities, and service opportunities for youth.
• Develop supportive relationships not only with the Church's youth but also with their parents and other members of the Church.
• Provide leadership with Church volunteers engaging with the youth programs.



QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Theology, Biblical Studies or Youth Ministry.
• Youth Ministry experience of up to 4 years, with greater experience desirable.
• Technology skills with digital and current media and the ability to effectively communicate and educate using current technology.
• Candidates who sense a call into long-term vocational ministry within the church are also encouraged to apply for this position.
