Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 2:00am - 10:30am, holiday, weekends, and on-call rotations based on business needs. Training approx. first 4 weeks Monday - Friday 6:00 am-2:30pm. Candidate must be flexible to work different days and shifts. Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries on assigned route using company vehicle (non-CDL), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, loading/unloading containers, using handheld tablet for scanning orders and navigation, processing returned packages, maintaining vehicles, performing minor roadside repairs, and general facility cleaning. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred, valid driver's license with good driving record, prior delivery driving experience a plus, minimum 18 years of age, ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds, comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night, ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate vehicle for extended periods, strong customer service and communication skills, ability to work on-call, weekends, holidays, flexibility for shifts/overtime, ability to use computers and tablets, customer/vendor credentialing required. Expected to apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks, learn and apply new information, maintain licenses and certifications, work on routine assignments with some problem resolution, adhere to quality guidelines, work under moderate supervision, and refer complex problems to supervisor.
