Key Accountabilities Timely Delivery: Deliver catering orders to customers on schedule, ensuring punctuality and professionalism. Order Accuracy: Review orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and complete deliveries organizationally. Vehicle Management: Maintain and operate the company delivery vehicle in a safe, clean, and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service during delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing concerns. Loading & Unloading: Safely load, transport, and unload catering equipment and food items while maintaining food quality and safety. Post-Delivery: Collect any required paperwork, payments, or client feedback and report it to the appropriate team. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order and report any issues to management. Problem Solving: Handle any delivery-related issues (e.g., incorrect orders, delays) and work with the team to resolve them efficiently. Company Representation: Act as an ambassador for SBR Events Group, presenting a professional image aligning with the company's mission and values. Additional administrative tasks will apply. Position Requirements Minimum Education Level Required High School Diploma required. The minimum experience level required Previous experience in catering, food service, or delivery. Experience driving delivery vehicles or similar (preferred) The amount of supervision received by the employee The incumbent reports to the Operations Manager. The incumbent may be given additional direction from the Product Director. The skills required Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience driving delivery vehicles or similar (preferred). Strong customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position is not responsible for supervising any staff positions. BOTH the level and nature of the INTERNAL contacts The incumbent has regular contact with the Director of Operations, Product Director, Director of Sales, Operations Staff and Kitchen personnel. BOTH the level and nature of the EXTERNAL contacts External contacts include any 3rd party vendors, venues, government, and industry representatives as well as clients Physical requirement's This Job requires an incumbent to be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
