Job Title: Databricks Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite 2–3 days per week)

Type: 6-Month Contract to Permanent

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced  Databricks Developer for a hybrid role based in  Atlanta, GA . This is a 6-month contract-to-permanent opportunity with a dynamic team focused on building scalable data solutions to drive business insights. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with  Apache Spark ,  Databricks ,  Python , and data pipelines, and be comfortable collaborating in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data workflows and ensure data quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices.
• Support production deployments and resolve issues as they arise.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Proficient in Python or Scala for data processing.
• Strong experience with Delta Lake and advanced data modeling techniques.
• Solid understanding of data lake architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with SQL and working knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid role:  Onsite 2–3 days per week at our Atlanta office.
• Opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and business need after the initial 6-month contract period.
