Summary Objective

The purpose of this position is to properly process crime scenes in a thorough and methodical manner to preserve evidence. This position requires being on-call on a regular basis.

This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires an Associate's degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Biology, or a closely related field; or a two-year (2) certification in Crime Scene Investigation.

Two (2) years of experience as a Crime Scene Technician, preferred.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.

This position requires the successful passing of a background check and drug screening . All applicants must upload an educational diploma/degree and a valid State of Florida Driver's License to the document section of the online application.
