Corporate Parking Enforcement Officer Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Location: Kirkland, Washington Shift & Schedule: 1st Applications will be accepted until the job is closed. What we're looking for: Works independently performing lot counts, vehicles, and bicycle counts on campus. Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and other vehicles for parking violations. Issues citations for improper use of specifically designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations. Operates a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface. Supervises towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors. Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as charging EVs and inflating tires. Operates computer equipment, two-way radio, handheld devices, and technology. Completes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of offense, vehicle license plate number, and/or vehicle identification number. Provides customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations, and parking policies. Issues citations and warnings for non-compliance with a handheld device. Exercises proper judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with people. Assists maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment, facility upkeep, and maintenance. Clears vehicles before and after each shift and stocks supplies as needed. May be asked to perform cashier, flagger, or valet duties. May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists. Other special projects as assigned by location management.
