Overview: Contract Teams for Residential Furniture Delivery Job Type: Contract Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly. AIT Home Delivery utilizes a high-performing network of contractors to help deliver a world-class experience for our customers. We look for teams with great work ethic, business aptitude, customer service dedication, and industry skills! Our dedicated teams of contractors offer fast and reliable home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers. Responsibilities: We are looking for the following: Contractor teams for furniture and home goods delivery. Light assembly may be needed. The work available in your area involves pick up of furniture or home goods from your local retailer and delivery to customers residence. Light assembly includes attaching legs/knobs onto furniture after delivery. Equipment Assembly required with some deliveries. Some equipment can be big and bulky so a helper is required. Note: While this work is supplemental, AIT has work available with many clients. Existing contractors are offered other work as it becomes available or as volume increases. Be sure to work with the manager on the amount of work you are interested in accepting. Day to Day - What to expect: Furniture is boxed and unboxed. Contractors are required to inspect open furniture, communicate any damages, and blanket wrap prior to delivery. Outlets enter their orders through our Scheduler system choosing the delivery date and window. Orders flow into our system as White Glove Service Level White Glove (2-person box truck) inside home, room of choice including debris removal. Light Assembly is required if noted on the order and is a separate charge. Qualifications: If your team can meet these expectations, we want you as our next contractor! You must own or lease a sprinter or cargo van to complete orders. Must Comply with vehicle registrations, DOT/med card, and state laws as applicable for the commercial vehicle being used to complete work Vehicle liability insurance-CSL insurance varies based on vehicle weight You must have a reliable helper. Two-man teams required You must own and maintain your own vehicle and tools needed for the completion of the work offered Must be a business entity with an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively AIT Worldwide Home Delivery
