Description:
Works as part of a team providing health care to patients at Grand Portage Health Services in the areas of clinical support, community public health, home care and emergent care with a special emphasis in maternal child health and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Education:
RN with current, valid licensure required. Maternal Child health experience highly desired.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of/experience working in American Indian community. Excellent inter-personal relationship, decision making and communication skills. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable with Grand Portage auto insurance. Must clear background investigation for minimum standards of Character & Suitability for employment under the Indian Child Protection & Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990, Pub 101-630.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
