Attention truck drivers! Apex Trucking is hiring CDL class B drivers to drive locally- that means NO LONG-HAUL RUNS! Must have at least 1 year of driving experience. Apex Trucking primarily hauls aggregate materials around the Sedgwick County area. Apex Trucking is a locally-owned business with family-like atmosphere!

General responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Drive and operate trucks

· Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps

· Perform and maintain daily pre & post trip start up procedures and inspections

· Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed

· Load and unload cargo

· Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times

· Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

· Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations

· Perform responsibilities as requested by dispatcher

Requirements:

• Air Brake Endorsement
• Must be able to drive manual
• Valid CDL license
• Valid medical card
• Clean MVR
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/ alcohol screening, physical, background check, and clean MVR
• At least 1 years of proven experience in a CDL driving role
