Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and results-driven
Sales Manager to oversee cemetery sales operations, lead a small team, and ensure outstanding service to the families we serve. This supervisory role includes managing the sales process, coaching team members, and supervising grounds crew and office staff.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales of cemetery plots, merchandise, and services (pre-need and at-need)
- Supervise and mentor team members
- Provide compassionate customer support to families
- Manage budgets, scheduling, and overtime approvals
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines
Required Skills & Experience: - Sales experience in a quota-based environment
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Moderate tech skills: email, texting, Excel/Google Sheets, Docs, CRM tools, cloud storage
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred (Not Required): - Experience in cemetery, funeral, or pre-need sales
- Experience managing a sales team
