Pay Rate: $18-$19 DOE
Shifts Available: Monday - Sunday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

About Us: Treston Security Services is committed to ensuring safety and peace of mind in the communities we serve. We are currently hiring Security Officers to work in transitional housing facilities in Downtown Los Angeles, where you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for residents.
Position Summary: As a Security Officer, you will monitor the premises, ensure the safety of residents and staff, and enforce rules and policies. This position requires high attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle incidents calmly and effectively.
Responsibilities: - Monitor and Control Access:
- Verify identification of individuals entering the building, ensure only authorized personnel and residents have access, and maintain a visitor log.
- Conduct Regular Patrols:
- Perform interior and exterior patrols of the property every hour, covering common areas, stairwells, parking lots, and any areas prone to security risks. Report any suspicious activities or individuals immediately.
- Enforce Facility Policies and Procedures:
- Ensure residents and visitors follow property rules and guidelines. Address minor violations courteously and report serious or repeated issues to management.
- Respond to Emergencies:
- Act as the first responder in emergencies, including medical situations, disturbances, or fires. Provide appropriate assistance and notify emergency services and site management as necessary.
- Incident Reporting and Documentation:
- Document and report all incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches accurately. Maintain daily logs of activities and submit detailed incident reports as required.
- Assist with Resident Safety:
- Conduct wellness checks upon request, respond to resident concerns, and foster a safe, respectful environment.
- Maintain a Visible Deterrent:
- Establish a visible security presence to deter potential security breaches, including loitering or unauthorized gatherings, ensuring residents feel safe and secure.
Qualifications: - Must be able to work night shifts, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including weekends
- Valid Guard Card for California
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Prior experience in security, especially in residential or transitional housing, is a plus
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and manage conflict
