Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge in databases, data modeling, BI development, business analysis methods, and data warehousing. This position requires a versatile individual capable of handling a wide range of tasks. Strong communication skills, the ability to quickly grasp the insurance industry, and being a collaborative team player are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Maintain and support all analytic data platforms.
• Automate manual reporting processes.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting.
• Create visualizations and reports as requested.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Proactively design and re-evaluate procedures to expedite problem resolution and eliminate obstacles for end-users.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business and technology stakeholders.
• Understanding of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Familiarity with database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.
• Familiarity with BI dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative.
• Strong analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, balance priorities, and meet competing deadlines.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Dependable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to the insurance industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Experience with SQL Server environment (SSRS, SSIS, Management Studio).
• Experience creating integrations with external data sources.
