Job Description

Overview Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company (HE&R) is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to build data visualization tools, gather and document business requirements, and deliver dashboards and reports in partnership with technical teams. The BI Analyst collaborates with business stakeholders, Finance peers, and the technology team to transform data into actionable insights and drive adoption across the enterprise. Job Functions Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business intelligence and reporting requirements. Translate business questions into clear, actionable technical specifications for reporting and analysis. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data sources, evaluate inputs and outcomes, and define logic and definitions. Document business purpose, data sources, definitions, methodology, and descriptions of reports. Build, design, and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Conduct data exploration to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Leverage data warehouse structures and cloud-based data platforms to source and organize data efficiently. Present analysis results and key findings clearly and concisely to business teams and leadership. Continuously refine and optimize reporting and analysis processes for better performance and usability. Serve as a trusted advisor to business users, helping them interpret reports and analytics to support decision-making. Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to urgent data requests when needed. Train and support users on BI tools and best practices for self-service analytics. Troubleshoot reporting or data issues and work with technical teams to resolve them promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum of 3 year(s) of Hospitality/Tourism, Retail, Food & Beverage, Sports/Entertainment, Amusement Park, or other related experience. Bachelor's Degree - Data Visualization / Data Science 7 years of experience in lieu of education. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
