Breast Ultrasound Technologist

Boston, MA Full-Time, On-Site $100,000 - $125,000/year $15,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to $5,000 Relocation Assistance

Join a leading breast imaging team at a respected healthcare institution in Boston, MA , where patient care and clinical excellence are top priorities. We're seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform advanced breast ultrasound imaging and support physicians during procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams , capturing high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and care
• Assist radiologists during biopsies, aspirations, and intraoperative procedures
• Maintain exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout the care experience
• Accurately document imaging and procedures in PACS, RIS, Epic , and related systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and managers to optimize workflows and outcomes
• Coordinate service and maintenance for ultrasound equipment to reduce downtime
• Support departmental needs including occasional overtime or shift flexibility

Requirements
Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required)

Certification

• Active ARDMS certification in OB, AB, or RVT (required)
• OB/GYN applicants may obtain ARDMS within 12 months of hire

Experience

• Clinical experience in breast imaging is preferred

Skills

• Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding diagnostic imaging principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
