Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform advanced breast ultrasound imaging and support physicians during procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams , capturing high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and care
- Assist radiologists during biopsies, aspirations, and intraoperative procedures
- Maintain exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout the care experience
- Accurately document imaging and procedures in PACS, RIS, Epic , and related systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and managers to optimize workflows and outcomes
- Coordinate service and maintenance for ultrasound equipment to reduce downtime
- Support departmental needs including occasional overtime or shift flexibility
Requirements Qualifications Education - Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required)
Certification - Active ARDMS certification in OB, AB, or RVT (required)
- OB/GYN applicants may obtain ARDMS within 12 months of hire
Experience - Clinical experience in breast imaging is preferred
Skills - Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding diagnostic imaging principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
