The future of this technology is ever changing and requires top engineers to keep Bose as a leader of world-class noise cancellation. A large part of Bose Headphone development are the internal processes and tools that are used to design, model and test audio systems.The Bose Noise Cancellation Team is looking for a co-op to assist in execution of critical software and systems development of internal audio measurement and dsp tools.Responsibilities:1. Provide Software Support to the Controls and DSP audio teams2. Develop software tools used by Acoustic, Controls and DSP Engineers3. Design software workflows to simplify audio recordingRequired Qualifications:•Currently pursuing a degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.•Basic Audio Signal processing (Sampling, Filtering)•Experience with MATLAB, Python or another scripting languageRecommended Qualifications:•Experience with one or more modern compiled languages (C++/Java/C#/Rust etc.)•Experience with Digital Signal Processing Hardware•Experience designing multi-threaded software•Experience with a modern Sound API (ASIO, WASAPI, PulseAudio)•Experience with professional digital audio workstation software (Ableton Live, Pro tools etc.)•Experience writing VST pluginsBose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
