JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Attorney Professional Development managers, perform a variety of administrative coordination tasks related to attorney onboarding procedures, attorney event planning, and attorney performance reviews. This job requires flexibility in work schedule and may require occasional overtime. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Coordinate orientation schedules for Atlanta attorneys.
- Coordinate meeting logistics including coordinating conference room set-up .and materials, tracking RSVPs, coordination of A/V needs with Multimedia, etc.
- Coordinate associate mentor pairings.
- Approve Chrome River expenses on weekly basis.
- Approve time sheets for Project Attorneys on weekly basis.
- Create surveys using firm software.
- Draft minutes for committee minutes.
- Assist in firmwide onboarding initiatives.
- Assist with filing of resumes, bios, offer letters and transcripts.
- Assist with ongoing data entry for attorney attrition and retention documents, etc.
- Provide other administrative and clerical support as required by supervisors.
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a strong ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Good judgment in a professional environment.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in professional services preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
