*Associate Attorney - Civil Defense*

*Johnson Hanan Vosler Hawthorne & Snider* is a well-established and respected civil defense firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. We represent a diverse range of clients in various civil litigation matters, providing exceptional legal services with a focus on strategic advocacy and client satisfaction. *Responsibilities:*

* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
* Assist in all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
* Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
* Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
* Manage case files.
* Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as needed.
* Analyze and interpret complex legal issues.
* Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and case law.

*Qualifications:*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the Oklahoma Bar.
* 0-5 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
* Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Experience in medical malpractice defense or insurance defense is a plus.
