Responsibilities:Interacts with guests and associates to proactively identify suspicion indicators, assess threat potential, and engage in security interviewing to deter and prevent malicious acts. Serves as a general security presence and deterrent to crime and rule infractions while assigned to a fixed post. Utilizes quick decision-making skills and sound judgement to respond to and address situations beyond the capabilities of unarmed security associates. Requests assistance of law enforcement as necessary. Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guests or working with fellow associates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions. Qualifications:Must possess a current OPOTC 20-hour firearms certification and provide 2 letters of recommendation. Ability to pass a BCI and FBI background check. Successful completion of the OPOTC firearms course and practical exam before their first day of work People who interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups. Individuals who work well within a team with a commitment to safety. Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Ability to work at least 4 days a week.
