As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Response in Elizabeth City, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order within the assigned area.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members, providing assistance or information as necessary.
• Follow all Allied Universal procedures and guidelines while performing duties at the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
