Accounting Specialist - Manufacturing Industry

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close activities: prepare and review journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and deliver accurate reporting.

• Oversee revenue recognition and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform variance analysis, research discrepancies, and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

• Prepare financial statements and support quarterly, interim, and year-end processes.

• Collaborate on annual operating budgets and contribute to strategic financial planning.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on SAP expertise.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• CPA or CMA certification.

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Background in cost accounting.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hobart, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
