Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. This is a long-term contract position that requires working on-site Monday through Friday during office hours. The role involves supporting various accounting and administrative functions to ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: - Process financial transactions, issue checks, and update ledgers and budgets. - Reconcile credit card statements and merchant accounts, resolving discrepancies as needed. - Accurately enter financial data into internal databases and maintain records. - Assist with audits by performing fact-checks and addressing inconsistencies. - Handle communication with vendors and clients to facilitate financial processes. - Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization. - Support administrative duties related to accounting and ensure compliance with policies. - Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for tracking and managing financial data. - Contribute to resolving financial discrepancies and improving efficiency in operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with relevant work experience. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is highly preferred. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities. - Effective time management and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices. - Ability to multitask, take initiative, and maintain a positive attitude. - A detail-oriented approach and resourcefulness in handling challenges.
