Responsibilities Learn and perform professional accounting work in the establishment, maintaining accounts and records while receiving training. Understand agency activities, department systems, and central fiscal control activities. Develop interpersonal skills by contact with program personnel and control agencies in fiscal control activities. Prepare, review, and analyze all types of accounts and records of financial transactions. Support the Accounting and Fiscal System Branch’s mission by providing financial reports and analysis to stakeholders and department end users. Contribute to the County Expense Claim Reporting Information System (CECRIS) Project and the procurement process, monitoring contract obligations and deliverables. Qualifications Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required: 12 pt. Arial, 1” margins, no more than two single‑sided pages, narrative form (no bullet points). Education: Meeting the minimum educational qualifications listed in the classification specification. Experience: No specific work experience required for the entry‑level trainee; willingness to learn and complete training.
