Key Responsibilities: Migrating legacy code and scripts into efficient, maintainable Python code Analyse existing code and scripts written in SAS/SQL languages. Develop Python scripts to replicate or improve existing functionality. Document code and processes clearly to support future maintenance. Troubleshoot and debug issues arising during migration. Deliver project milestones within the contract period. Qualifications: A minimum of a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Proven proficiency in Python programming & SQL Good understanding of Starburst and SAS is a plus. Familiarity with database concepts and data manipulation. Ability to read and understand legacy code in SAS/SQL and translate logic into Python. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt Prior experience in similar contract or project-based roles is preferred.
