We are seeking an intern to support the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, focusing on emerging technology segments related to industrial automation, robotics, and logistics. The Industrial Innovation Fund is part of Amazon Corporate Development, a small, tight-knit team that values authentic, strong-willed individuals that think creatively and will proactively seek out opportunities to advance the growth initiatives of Amazon’s businesses. The intern will partner with Amazon leaders to identify opportunities for transformation in industrial automation, robotics, logistics, and supply chain through engagement with the technology community and Amazon leaders. The intern will help identify potential investment opportunities by conducting industry research, investment analyses, and due diligence. These activities would result in creation of strategic presentations and recommendations to our senior leaders. During the internship, the candidate can also expect to get exposure to the entire opportunity lifecycle, from deal origination to execution. The selected candidate will also develop the ability to build networks with investors and entrepreneurs.
An Amazon MBA summer internship is 10-12 weeks long, consisting of a strategic project that is data intensive, analytical, centered on a real business issue, and representative of the full-time role. The Corporate Development intern will have ownership of a high-profile project, where they will partner with key business groups and clients. By participating in the internship, you will have opportunities to analyze unique business ideas, make data driven decisions and provide input to drive meaningful change. Each intern will have exposure to upper-level management (including Vice Presidents and Directors) and the opportunity to apply general business and financial analysis skills to support successful execution of corporate strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program
- 4+ years experience in a relevant role, including investment banking, corporate development, private equity or venture capital
- Demonstrated passion for/interest in robotics, automation, operations, and embodied AI
- Financial modeling and analysis skills
- Experience deep diving into sectors/landscaping
- Exposure to and/or passion for venture investing
