SHOW and TELL

Hatch Show Print is not your typical letterpress shop. Founded in the 1800’s, Hatch is the oldest existing letterpress in business today. Operated by the Country Music Hall of Fame since 1986 it seemed only fitting for us to bank on their longevity, while celebrating our own. In 2001, marking 18 years of design excellence, we threw a Hoe Down and Dirty studio opening party and commissioned our very own Hatch Show Print for the occasion. The party, complete with live entertainment from Grammy artist Jim Lauderdale, and the show print were the happy result of combining hand-inked, hand-carved wood blocks, and good ole country western music. A sweet recipe for design success.
