Calling all doodlers and sketchers for The Sketchbook Project 2011 tour. Sign up by October 31st to receive a sketchbook, choose a theme and doodle-away! The sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country and will ultimately be entered into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library.
SHOW and TELL
Our long-term client, Santa Monica-based Library Alehouse, asked us to come up with a promotion to launch the completion of their interior space renovation. Our primary objective was to get visitors back in the door of this main street meeting spot and we were excited to offer up some fresh new ideas. The final result? Custom designed wooden nickels, each good for five dollars off any bar order. Given to patrons at the grand re-opening, first-time visitors soon became repeat patrons, and with owner Dave Lackman handing them out at community events sponsored by the Alehouse, the nickels were an instant success.
